This adult-only event is an opportunity to interact with JMSG parents. The director of enrollment, head of school, and parents will be available to answer questions about our program and community. This event will be scheduled once-a-month throughout the fall and winter. To register, create an account on Ravenna. JMSG also will host online neighborhood coffees via Zoom. Schedule a Campus Visit (students only) Your child can come to campus and visit classes in person in the fall. Current students will host your child and be available to answer questions about our program and community. You can register on Ravenna to schedule a campus visit on a Tuesday morning. All visitors must be vaccinated to visit the school.
Interact with a JMSG Alum Panel (applicant families)
You can attend an online event to hear from our alum about their middle school experience. This live event will occur once, and a video will be posted on the JMSG website after the event. You can register on Ravenna to attend online.
#2 Apply for the 2022-2023 School Year
Julia Morgan School for Girls Online Application on Ravenna
JMSG accepts applications from students who align with the mission of the Julia Morgan School for Girls and who identify as girls, regardless of assigned sex at birth, or identify as non-binary. Please submit the preliminary application and fee by January 20, 2023. The application fee is $100 (non-refundable). Supplemental forms including student questionnaire, teacher recommendation, and school transcripts will be due February 15, 2023. All forms are available on Ravenna.
Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) (not required) JMSG no longer requires ISEE scores for admission. Applicants must complete the JMSG school assessment as part of the application process.
JMSG Assessment Day
Every applicant must attend an on-campus assessment for two hours in late January. Once you submit an application, you can register on Ravenna for an assessment day.
Family Interview (applicant and parents)
The family interview is an opportunity for a staff member to get to know your child, and for your family to ask questions and learn more about JMSG. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. Families who submit an application and pay the application fee early will have access to the interview schedule as soon as they apply.
