JMSG Summer Program offers unique programming for 4th-8th graders
The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Girls Summer Camp (June 19-July 7) focuses on building community and empowering girls to express themselves authentically through art and STEAM activities. The third week (July 3-July 7) is for 6th graders only. Note: All 6th grade groups are for students who will attend JMSG in the fall 2023.
Each session of camp is one week and will have a variety of activities related to the theme. Every day the girls will engage in activities that are planned by JMSG faculty and designed to serve all learning styles. The community time between activities is led by JMSG students and alums who volunteer to be teaching assistants in the summer. A significant number of campers return each year, and many ultimately apply to JMSG for the academic school year. Girls Summer Camp is the perfect way to experience the magic of an all-girls setting and our confidence-building culture during the summer.
There is a new camp for rising 7th and 8th graders: a one-week Science and Nature Camp (July 10-July 14). Students will do experiments and investigations in our garden and around campus. They will journal and draw observations. So, if your child likes art, science, and nature, this camp is for them. We hope your children and their friends can join us in July!
"Girls Summer Camp for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders has really fun themes and a mindset for young girls. By the end of the week, the girls have fallen in love with the school."
