Girls Summer Camp

What campers say:

"JMSG camp has really fun themes and a mind-set for young girls, and it certainly made me want to come to school here. By the end of the week, all of the girls have fallen in love with the counselors and Julia Morgan."

"I attended all three years of JMSG Girls Summer Camp, and I had the greatest time. There, I fell in love with the school and was inspired by the alum and teachers daily."

JMSG offers three summer sessions to girls entering fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. Sessions are one week long, and each session will have a variety of activities to participate in as well as a project theme. Girls may choose to enroll in any or all of the three sessions. Each week the girls will participate in activities that are planned by JMSG faculty to connect with the weekly theme but also designed to serve all learning styles. Most activities include a creative component, group work, and opportunity for self-reflection. Activities may include: learning dance moves, playing music, writing and performing poetry, exploring science, making nature-inspired art, practicing yoga, and playing sports/games. JMSG graduates can volunteer to be teaching assistants in the summer program. Girls Summer Camp’s success is evidenced by a significant number of returning campers and campers who apply to JMSG for the academic school year.
