LeeAnne Walters was recently highlighted at our all school meeting as a mom who helped expose Flint, Michigan's toxic water nightmare. One of our 6th graders Ruby D. was thrilled to learn that the very same woman she had heard about was a presenter at the annual EG conference held in Carmel, CA. The conference comprises over 500 members of the creative community, roughly 50 of whom give presentations about their passion projects. It is a touchstone for innovators in every imaginable field — makers and doers of extraordinary things, breakers of boundaries, explorers of frontiers, busters of myths. Ruby had the opportunity to meet LeeAnne and talk about JMSG with her.
