Message from the Board of Directors
After more than ten years as founding Head of School, Ann Clarke will leave JMSG to pursue other endeavors in the field of education effective June 30, 2009.

The Board of Directors has appointed a search committee to conduct a nationwide head search to find the best candidates for the next Head of School. The committee is made up of parents, alumnae parents, teachers, administrators and board members and includes:

Mike Barbee (board member & alum parent, '07)
Marcia Bedford (Assistant Head)
Darlene Bell-Carson (Admission & Financial Aid Manager & alum parent, '06 and '08)
Laura Celik (7th grade science teacher)
Ilana DeBare (founding board chair & alum parent, '08)
Liz Gibbs Campbell (7th grade math teacher)
Jody Knowlton (board member, 7th grade parent & alum parent, '08)
Judy Levin (alum parent, '02)
Pam Maycroft (Business Manager)
Jennifer Villeneuve (8th grade parent)
Myrt Whitcomb (board member)

The Board  also hired Bob Fricker, an experienced search consultant with Educational Directions Inc., one of the top independent school placement firms in the country to assist in the search.
