 Where a girl’s imagination can soar during the summer!  NEW in 2010! The Girls Summer Camp at Julia Morgan School for Girls, located on the Mills College campus in Oakland, is for girls entering 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in the Fall 2010. This camp offers opportunities to discover, explore, and create while making new friends! Girls are grouped by grade level and rotate through art, music, movement, creative expression, science, and "girls circle" activities related to the weekly themes: Explore the Environment, Discover the World, and Investigate Living Creatures. A JMSG teacher will be leading “girls circle” activities every morning during Girls Summer Camp. “Girls circle” time combines discussions about topics that are interesting to girls with creative expression activities like art, writing or drama.  The JMSG Girls Summer Camp runs from June 14th to July 2nd. Sign up for one, two, or three weeks. One week costs $325. A limited number of spaces are available, so register early by downloading and returning the registration form! If you would like to sign up for extra time from 3:30 to 5:30, please complete the Extended Care form. Girls Summer Camp is now offering financial assistance. We have a limited amount of funds and may not be able to accommodate all requests.
