Through a hands-on science program, students learn methods of scientific inquiry and develop logical thinking.  They learn to understand their place in the world and their impact on the environment while developing the ability to form hypotheses, make observations, collect data, and draw solid conclusions.  Art, math, technology, history, and linguistic expression are all naturally woven into experimentation and presentation of scientific ideas.  We strive to stimulate genuine interest in and enthusiasm for science and to engage girls in viewing the world through a scientific lens.  The program, based on the California Science Framework, provides students with a strong foundation for advanced science study in high school and college.
