JMSG is committed to integrating the curriculum at each grade level. The School believes that middle school students learn best when their learning is fluid, i.e. by visiting and revisiting themes in all of their classes. By integrating the curriculum, teachers encourage students to examine themes more thoroughly across disciplines. The curricular framework encourages students to see the connections between subject areas and disciplines and to embody a broader understanding of the themes that they are exploring. This curriculum received a copyright in Spring 2004 and reflects years of change, growth, and development.
