Julia Morgan School for Girls recently created an endowed fund restricted to tuition assistance called The Athena Fund. Currently, 30% of the students who attend JMSG receive tuition assistance. In order for the School to continue providing this level of support and ensure that girls (regardless of economic means) have the opportunity to pursue their dreams through a Julia Morgan School education, the School will continue its efforts to raise the seed money for an endowment.

Why an endowment?

Endowment funds are assets that provide support to the school in perpetuity. The endowment funds are invested, and a portion of the investment return provides support to school operations – in this case, to JMSG’s tuition assistance program. 

Giving to an endowment like The Athena Fund means that your gift will keep supporting the school and its students in perpetuity – not just this year, but every year into the future.
