JMSG is located on the Mills College campus at 5000 MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland at the junction of Interstate 580 and Highway 13. Drivers, follow I-580 exit directions carefully, because there are three MacArthur Boulevard exits from I-580 east. Once you enter the campus, JMSG is the first building on the left. To park, visitors should pass through the guard gate; a parking lot is located on the right.

From the North: Take I-580 east (MacArthur Freeway) toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the MacArthur Blvd. exit between the High St. and Seminary Ave. exits. Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd.; Mills' front gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From the South: Take I-580 west to the MacArthur Blvd./High St. exit just past the junction with Highway 13. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed under the freeway overpass. Turn left
at the stoplight onto MacArthur Blvd. Mills' front gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Oakland International Airport (approx. six miles from Mills): Take I-880 (Eastshore Freeway) north to High St., about two miles past the Oakland Airport exit. Turn right onto High St. and continue about two miles. Go under the freeway overpass and turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. Go under the freeway again, bearing right, to the stoplight. Mills’ front gate is ahead on your left. Cab fare is typically $20–$25.

From San Francisco International Airport (approx. 26 miles from Mills): Take 101 north
to the Bay Bridge. From the east end of the Bay Bridge, take I-580 east (MacArthur Freeway) toward Hayward/Stockton. About eight miles from the bridge, take the MacArthur Blvd. exit between the High St. and Seminary Ave. exits. Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd.; Mills’ front gate is immediately ahead on your left.
